Dr. Lawrence Trana
Dr. Lawrence Tran is passionate about providing patient-centered dental care and helping every patient feel comfortable and confident in their smile. He especially enjoys working with patients who experience dental anxiety or have had limited access to dental treatment. For Dr. Tran, one of the most rewarding parts of dentistry is building meaningful relationships with patients and creating a welcoming environment where they feel heard, supported, and cared for.
Originally from San Jose, California, Dr. Tran is excited to serve patients in the Los Gatos community alongside Dr. Herrera and the rest of the team.
Why Did You Decide
to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Tran's passion for dentistry comes from his desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. He finds it especially rewarding to help patients overcome dental anxiety and receive the care they need to maintain healthy smiles. His commitment to providing compassionate, personalized treatment continues to motivate him as he grows in his career.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Tran attended Nova Southeastern University before earning his dental degree from Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. His background also includes experience as a dental assistant, giving him a valuable perspective on patient care and the importance of teamwork in creating a positive dental experience.
He is a member of the American Dental Association and California Dental Association, reflecting his commitment to the dental profession and providing quality care to his patients.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Tran enjoys staying active and exploring the outdoors. Hiking and spending time at the gym are some of his favorite ways to unwind. He's also a coffee enthusiast who loves discovering new coffee shops and trying different spots around the area.
Dr. Tran values the close relationships he has built with his colleagues and considers his dental team an extension of his family. And here's a fun fact about him: he has a heart-shaped vein on his right arm!
